Michael A. "Tony" Holmes, 24, of Buzzards Bay, passed away Sunday July 27. Tony was the son of Michael A. Holmes of Brockton, Kathryn L. O’Sullivan of Buzzards Bay and the stepson of Greg Wirth of Buzzards Bay.

Tony was born in Stoughton and attended elementary school in Halifax. He later attended Carver Public Schools and graduated from Carver High School. Tony enjoyed dirt bike riding, fishing and time spent with family and friends. He was employed by RebuildEX, a restoration company based in Carver.

Tony was the brother of Gina Kirk and her husband Joe of Middleborough, Dayna Holmes and her fiancé Shane Russell of Middleborough and Timothy O’Sullivan of Buzzards Bay. He was the grandson of Neil and Bettie Mosman of Raynham, Josephine Holmes of Brockton and the late Roger Holmes. He was the nephew of Keith and Dawn Mosman and Scott Mosman, all of Raynham; and Joanne Holmes, Sharon Richardson and Linda Melchionne, all of Brockton. He was the uncle of Zachary, Dominic and Heather Kirk. He was also survived by many loving cousins, relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his visiting hours on Thursday July 31, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. A service of remembrance will begin at 6:30 and conclude at 7 p.m. in the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center Street Wareham.
