Michaela Trece (Franklin) Silva, 53
WAREHAM – Michaela Trece (Franklin) Silva, 53, of Fairhaven, formerly of Wareham passed away while surrounded by loving family members at St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford on June 21, 2026. She was the wife of Michael Machicote.
She was born in Marlborough and lived in Wareham for many years before moving to Fairhaven in 2020. She graduated from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, Bristol Community College and Southern New Hampshire University where she received a master’s degree in psychology.
Michaela worked as a Social Worker in the area for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales, hosting parties & barbeques and cooking for family events. She loved her pet cats and dogs and most of all she loved her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Machicote; her mother, Michelle (Balboni) Franklin of Wareham; her children, John Syders of Wareham, Tyrell Silva of Fairhaven, Samara Machicote of Fairhaven, Giovanna Randall of Fairhaven and Xander Coblyn of Fairhaven; her brother and sisters, Darren Franklin of Wareham, Alyssa McCoomb of Wareham and Brittany Franklin of New Bedford. She was predeceased by her father, Warren Franklin.
Visiting hours are from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
