A runaway teenager last seen in Wareham has been found safe in her home state of Maine.

According to reports, 15-year-old Alicia Thibeau was located safely in Scarborough, Maine on Jan. 27.

She was first reported as a runaway by the Scarborough Police Department on Jan. 25.

Police say Thibeau was last seen in Wareham at about 1:30 p.m. that same day. She was reportedly with a man in a dark purple or maroon Jeep.

“Thank you to all for any information provided,” Wareham Police said in a Facebook post. “No further information is required.”

No additional information about Thibeau’s return has been released.
