The Wareham Free Library’s Mystery Book Club will discuss the book “Murder on Cape Cod” by Edith Maxwell, written under the pen name Maddie Day, on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Copies are available at the circulation desk. 

Maxwell will be joining the session to discuss and answer questions about her book.

This month, the book club will meet at the library’s Spinney Memorial Branch, 259 Onset Avenue, as the main branch is closed for renovations. 

In this month’s book, Mackenzie “Mac” Almeida, owner of Mac’s Bikes in Westham, has to solve a murder with her mystery book club after she discovered the dead body of handyman Jake Lacey. Mac is the police department’s number one suspect, but she knows she didn’t do it. However, she does recognize the murder weapon — her own brother’s fishing knife.
