Nancy L. Ayotte, 77

Centerville-Nancy L. Ayotte, 77, passed away on Monday August 17, 2026 at Home with her dear friend Amanda and beloved feline Charlie at her side.

MS. Ayotte was born on Nantucket, MA the daughter of the late Louis R. and Katherine (Cahoon) Ayotte.   She graduated from Nantucket High School, North Adams State College and Boston College.  She moved to Cape Cod in the early 1980’s.

She was employed for more than 35 years by the Cape Cod Times. MS. Ayotte earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College. Nancy was also a strong supporter of the local Democratic Committee.  She was the former director of social services at the Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled care Center in Wareham where she began working in 2005.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday September 5, 2026 5:30 PM Veterans Memorial Park 480 Ocean Street Hyannis, MA 02601
