The Trustees of Reservations are asking that no child be left inside this summer -- and invite the community to explore Buttermilk Bay and Red Brook at the Lyman Reserve during "Discovery Days."

The Lyman Discovery Barn, located at 1009 Head of the Bay Road, will open every Wednesday morning from 10 a.m to noon until August 21.

Children will get the opportunity to create crafts, play games, hit the trails, identify pitch pine, use dip nets to explore the stream, and build fairy houses along the woodland trails.

Programs are designed for children ages 6 to 12, but all family members are welcome to join.

Donations are suggested. The effort is a collaboration of the Wareham Land Trust, Trout Unlimited, and the Trustees of Reservations.
