Nor'easter knocks out power to 1,160

NStar is reporting 1,160 customers without power in Wareham, as wind and rain from a nor'easter continue to pummel the area.

The Onset Pier weather station is recording wind gusts up to 55 mph. The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 3 p.m. Thursday.

Use caution when traveling around town -- some low-lying areas are flooded, including parts of Onset Avenue and Cranberry Highway.

Emergency responders are tackling downed wires and trees throughout town.
