Officials locate driver who hit wild turkeys

The Wareham Department of Natural Resources has located the driver who allegedly sped up and hit a a flock of wild turkeys on Sunday.

On Tuesday, they posted on Facebook that the person involved was located and the Department of Natural Resources is working with witnesses of the incident. No names are being released at this time.

Officials say video of a truck hitting the turkeys was taken on Great Neck Road around 6 p.m. The truck was described as possibly being an older model Ford with cab lights and a cargo rack that extends over the back of the truck. It's unclear if any turkeys were killed.
