One hospitalized after rollover crash on Route 25

A rollover car crash on Route 25 eastbound sent a driver to the hospital shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday, July 13. 

According to Wareham Fire Department Assistant Chief Christopher Smith, the vehicle had one occupant who was stable once removed and sustained non-life threatening injuries. The driver was then transported to a local hospital. 

Smith said that the car crashed over the guardrail and rolled into the median of the highway around mile marker 2.7. A photo from the scene shows a seemingly crushed vehicle along the side of the road. 

The Wareham Fire Department assisted EMS in responding to the incident. Wareham Week is awaiting comment from the Massachusetts State Police, which is investigating the cause of the crash.
