Paul Anthony Morris, Jr., 70, of New Bedford, died Jan. 12 in Brandon Woods of New Bedford. He was the son of the late Paul A. Morris, Sr. and Esther (Lombard) Morris.

He was born in New Bedford and lived in Onset, Chatham and Buzzards Bay before returning to New Bedford.  He graduated from Fairhaven High School.

Mr. Morris worked as a chef at the Wayside Inn in Chatham, Harmony House in New Bedford and Leo’s Restaurant in Buzzards Bay.

He enjoyed listening to music and cooking.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth A. Ross of Holbrook; a son, Paul A. Morris, III of Hingham; a sister, Kathleen E. “Tina” Morris of Onset; two brothers, Kevin Morris of AZ and Christopher Morris of New Bedford; his stepmother, Ethel Morris of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren, Brendan and Jacob Ross, Sam and Nathan Morris; two nieces, Jennifer Morris Pina of West Wareham and Michele Morris of Onset; a great niece, Marissa Jackson; a great nephew, Christian Pina; a great great niece, Amiah Bryant.

His graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, in Center Cemetery, Tihonet Rd., Wareham. Visiting hours have been omitted.
