Police responded to a one-car accident on Onset Avenue, near Stevie B’s, Wednesday night at approximately 10 p.m.

According to witnesses, a the car struck a telephone pole and the operator was taken from the scene by ambulance for treatment. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.

Police were unavailable for comment as of this publication.
