Police search for two men suspected in armed home invasion
Police are on the hunt for two men suspected to be involved in a June 1 armed home invasion.
At approximately 10 p.m. that evening, two unidentified white males, one armed with a handgun and the other with a stun gun, forced their way into a residence at 86 Kristen Lane, demanding money, according to police.
The attackers bound the hands of the victims with “zip” ties and placed duct tape over their mouths, police said.
The victims - two males in their mid-twenties and a 49-year-old female - were not injured and stated they did not know the identity of their attackers, according to police.
The attackers then rummaged through the residence and made off with more than $2,000 worth of miscellaneous electronics, police said.
A search of the area by Wareham police patrol officers along with Wareham K-9 “Rolf” was unsuccessful.
One of the suspects was described by the victims as "large," in his late 30s, 6-feet-tall and 180 pounds, and wearing a black baseball cap. He was also reportedly wearing a gold badge and told his victims he was a Wareham police officer, according to police.
The other suspect was described as smaller, 5'8" inches, 180 pounds, clean-shaven, and wearing a gray baseball cap, police said.
The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting Wareham Police in the investigation.
