Presentation on human trafficking awareness in Plymouth County

The Human Trafficking Taskforce of the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office will be hosting a panel presentation on human trafficking awareness at the Wareham Free Library Wednesday, Jan. 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The event is open to the public and will feature four expert panelists discussing the realities of human trafficking, specifically its impact on Plymouth County communities. Human trafficking is the act of transporting or coercing people in order to benefit from their work or service, typically in the form of forced labor or sexual exploitation.

The District Attorney will provide opening remarks and there will be a Q and A session at the end of the presentation.
