Priscilla “Pat” (Jenne) Babcock, 93
Priscilla “Pat” (Jenne) Babcock, 93, in Brockton, under the loving care of her angel/granddaughter, Heather Peterson and her wonderful family, passed on June 16.
Pat was the wife, for many years of the late William Babcock.
Mother of Diane L. (Babcock) Sullivan and her husband Edward of East Falmouth, William Babcock and his wife Diane of Hood River, Oregon, Carol E. (Babcock) Frey and her husband Joseph of Carver, Robert C. Babcock and his wife Suzanne of Carver and the late David J. Babcock and his fiancé, Peggy Sue Carvalho of New Bedford. Grandmother of 14 and Great Grandmother of 19. Also survived by many nephews and nieces.
She was the daughter of the late Grace W. (Locke) and Orem Jenne, sister of the late Elizabeth (Jenne) Babcock, the late Charles Jenne and the late Malcolm Jenne.
She was well known for her chocolate chip cookies and baked macaroni and cheese and was also known for always opening her home and her heart for those who needed a little extra love.
She was born in Windsor, Vermont and lived in Allston for almost 30 years where she and her husband raised their family. She moved with her husband, Bill, to a home they built in Wareham and finally to South Meadow Village in Carver where she leaves many wonderful and caring friends.
She was a member of the Plymouth United Methodist Church in Plymouth and the South Meadow Village Association.
Her funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, June 22 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
