Priscilla Jean Alden, 62, of Wareham, died March 30, 2019 at home.

She was born in Taunton and lived in Raynham before moving to Wareham 35 years ago. She graduated from Bridgewater Raynham High School and from Green Mountain College.

Priscilla worked at Walmart for many years and she also worked at the Cranberry Region Visitors Center on Rte. 195 in Wareham. She also owned and operated Designs by Priscilla making American Doll clothing and Low Tides Designs in Buzzards Bay.

She was an amazing cook and hostess at holiday events. She also enjoyed the charity work she did with the Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Wareham Historical Society.

Survivors include her mother, Eileen (Mahoney) Alden of Wareham; 2 brothers, Daniel J. Alden of Wareham and Timothy F. Alden and his wife Susan of Wareham; 2 nieces, Rebecca Alden of Buzzards Bay and Megan Alden of Taft, TX; a great niece, Violet Liddell. She was predeceased by her father, John J. Alden, a brother, John J. Alden and a sister, Anne Louise Alden.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 in St. Margaret’s Church, 141 Main St., Buzzards Bay.
