A public meeting will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28 to discuss plans to restore coastal wetlands at the Jack’s Marsh site in the Great Neck Conservation area.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the Wareham Free Library community room at 59 Marion Road.

Attendees will learn about the Crooked River’s resources and the threats to the area. Meeting organizers will present conceptual designs that address the issues.

The Town of Wareham, Buzzards Bay Coalition, Wildlands Trust, Buzzards Bay National Estuary Program and Massachusetts Division of Ecological Restoration are partnering on the project aimed at restoring the wetlands.
