Ralph F. “Red” Tamulinas, 92, of Pinehurst Beach, Wareham, formerly of Norwood and Brockton, passed away August 25 at the Brockton VA Medical Center. Red is the husband of the late Mary (Zarrella), who passed away in 1996.

Born in Brockton, he is the son of the late Frank and Anna (Kudzicz) Tamulinas.

Red attended and graduated from the Brockton Public Schools. He is a WWII Navy veteran, serving as an Aviation Machinists Mate First Class and a (PBY) Flight Engineer.

He owned and operated South Norwood Auto-body for a number of years, and retired from the Registry of Motor Vehicles as an investigator.

Red enjoyed driving and racing Midget race cars, fishing, and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his daughters; Ann Tamulinas of North Attleboro and Kathryn Forrester and her husband Ron of Vineyard Haven. He is the grandfather of Peter Forrester and the great-grandfather of Otis and Aeneas Forrester.

His funeral and committal services were held Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial gifts to a veterans' organization of your choice.
