Reminisce on the Full Moon Walk with Science Educator Mary Beers and the Wareham Land Trust on Thursday, July 10 for an evening walk at Douglas S. Westgate Conservation Area from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

As twilight fades, participants will explore the trail by moonlight, tuning into the sights, sounds, and stories of the night.

Parking is available at 29 Papermill Road in West Wareham.The trail is approximately 1.3 miles and mostly flat, though some sections have uneven ground. Participants should feel free to bring a walking stick for extra stability.

This event is free, but space is limited, so registration is required. This walk is family-friendly and is recommended for children age 5 and up.

Be sure to dress in layers appropriate for the weather and bring water and bug spray. In case of inclement weather, the rain date is Friday, July 11 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
