Richard P. Ramsey, 61, of Wareham, died August 1, 2021. He was the son of the late Lois A. (Valle) Ramsey.

He was born in Taunton and lived in Wareham for many years.   

He graduated from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School.

Richard worked as a Maintenance Man for several area businesses.

He enjoyed the outdoors, western television shows and movies & helping people.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Ramsey of East Wareham; a son, Timothy DeMoranville and his wife Krystal of New Bedford; his brothers and sisters, Charles C. Ramsey, Jr. of New Bedford, Michael Ramsey of ME, Doug Ramsey of Buzzards Bay, Peggy Furtado of Wareham, Steven Ramsey of Onset and Lisa Almy of Buzzards Bay; many nephews and nieces; and his dog, Cooper.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
