Rita M. Demoranville, 82, homemaker, loved reading and cooking
Rita M. Demoranville, 82, of Wareham, died Friday, September 30 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. She was the wife of the late Irving E. Demoranville.
Born in N. Dartmouth, the daughter of the late Edmund & Marie (Dubois) Vaillancourt, she attended Dartmouth schools.
Mrs. Demoranville was a resident of Wareham since 1953. A homemaker, she enjoyed reading and cooking.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn DeMoranville of Wareham, Susan Lydon of New Bedford and Nancy Demoranville of New Bedford; her sister in-law, Pauline Amaral of New Bedford; her Godson, Charles Amaral of CT; two grandchildren, Timothy DeMoranville and his wife Krystal of New Bedford and Jennifer Ramsey of Freetown and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Her funeral will be held Tues., Oct. 4, 2011 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., Wareham at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
