Robert B. Murphy, Jr., 54, of Wareham, died April 21 in Kindred Hospital, Stoughton. He was the son of Lois E. (Harrington) Murphy and the late Robert B. Murphy, Sr.

He was born in Wareham and lived in Carver for many years before returning to Wareham. Mr. Murphy graduated from Carver High School and Massasoit Community College.

Mr. Murphy worked as a pharmacy courier for many years.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cataumet.

Mr. Murphy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and camping and his pets.

Survivors include his mother, Lois E. (Harrington) Murphy of Carver; 2 daughters, Jenna A. Murphy and Elizabeth E. Murphy both of Middleboro; 3 brothers, Kelly S. Murphy of Wareham, Lawrence E. Murphy of Middleboro and Andrew P. Murphy of Easthampton; a sister, Kristin K. Briggs of New Bedford; several nephews and nieces.

His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1220 County Road, Cataumet. Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church.
