Robert “Bob” Baker, 53, of Wareham, formerly of Dennis and Brockton, passed away August 2, at home with his family at his side, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Bob was the husband of Eva (Caron) Baker of Wareham.

Bob was born in Boston, the son of Dolores “Dolly” (Couble) Baker of Dennis and the late Donald I. Baker. He grew up in Brockton and attended Saint Edwards Parochial School, North Jr. H. S. and Brockton High School.

He worked for many years in the construction industry and most recently as the warehouse manager for the Marjam, Co. in Harwich. Bob enjoyed golf, fishing, cooking, and was an avid sports fan.

In addition to his wife and mother, Bob is survived by his two daughters; Chelsy Baker of Brighton and Alicyn Baker of Stoughton, and his stepson, Sean Morris of Plymouth. He is also survived by his brother, Gregg Baker, and his wife Susan Hughes of Groton, MA, his sister, Lynne Hayes of Bridgewater, and his brother, Chris Baker, and his wife Nancy of Nashua, NH. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Baker of Brockton. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center Street, Wareham.
