Robert P. Glebus, 82, of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Wareham, MA, passed away on Oct. 11, 2020, in The Carriage House, Greensboro, NC. He was the beloved husband of Roberta L. (Tobey) Glebus and the son of the late John and Wanda (Kornatowski) Glebus.

Bob was born in Somerville and lived in Tewksbury and Wareham, MA, for many years before moving to Greensboro, NC.  

Bob served in the Army National Guard for 6 years and obtained his bachelor’s degree from New Hampshire College. He worked as a Production & Material Control Analyst for Gillette for 32 years before retiring.

He was a member of Wareham Lodge of Elks. Bob enjoyed playing baseball and golf, watching all Boston sports teams and was always a willing dance partner!

Survivors include his wife, Roberta L. (Tobey) Glebus of Greensboro, NC; his son, John Glebus and his wife, Lisa of Greensboro, NC; his daughter Vicki Hasselbacher and her husband Erich of Seekonk, MA. He was known and loved as Papa to his six grandchildren Austin, Rebecca, Christopher, Lindsey, Lena and Drew.

Visiting hours are from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. (Appropriate COVID-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity).

His funeral is being held privately.
