WAREHAM – Robin G. (Fernandes) Andrews, 68, of Wareham, passed away on July 8, 2024, at Tobey Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frank W. “Ruffin” Andrews and the daughter of the late Nicholas E. Fernandes, Sr. and Eugenia E. (Fontes) Fernandes.

She was born in Bourne and lived in Onset and Rochester before moving back to Wareham. She graduated from Wareham High School, class of 1974 and she received a Master’s Degree from Cambridge College.

Mrs. Andrews worked as a Medical Inpatient Coder for Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

She enjoyed gardening, working in her greenhouse, shopping and having her nails done.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Jillian B. G. Andrews of Wareham; her siblings, Cheryl Gomes and her husband Donald of Onset, Denise Fernandes of Onset, Bonnie Filkins of Onset, Joy Goncalves and her husband Henrique of Onset, Nicholas Fernandes, Jr. and his wife, Jacqueline of Sandwich, and Lynn Roderick of Onset; 4 grandchildren, Frank Wayne Andrews, IV, Dylan Andrews, Christian McMillian, Jr. and Ava McMillan. She was the mother of the late Frank Wayne Earl Andrews, III and grandmother of the late Gabriella Andrews-McMillan.

Visiting hours are from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

Her funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024 from Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 94 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
