Ronna Lee (Mastropietro) Santoro, 63, past president, Tobey Hospital Guild

Ronna Lee (Mastropietro) Santoro, 63, of Wareham, formerly of Raynham and Brockton, died Saturday, August 6 at her home. She was the wife of John P. Santoro. They were married for 42 years.

Born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Dante and Marjorie (Knapp) Mastropietro, she graduated from Brockton High School, class of 1966.

She was executive assistant at Perewitz Motorcycles in Bridgewater and was formerly employed by the Onset Bay Association and the Raynham Athletic Club. She was president of the Tobey Hospital Guild from 2007 to 2009, president of the Wareham Garden Club from 2002 to 2004, manager and buyer for the Tobey Hospital Gift Shop, and was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Wareham.

Mrs. Santoro enjoyed gardening, golfing, traveling, cooking, and event planning.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Tara Lee King of Raynham and Leah Marie Conway and her husband Nate of Wareham; her brother, Dante J. Mastropietro and his wife Dottie of Brockton; her sister, Susan M. Perewitz of Brewster; her sister-in-life, Phyllis Renzi and her husband Ron of Wareham. She was Nonna to Aria and Ella Conway and Colby King; daughter-in-law to John and Viola Santoro of Wareham; sister in-law to Robert and Jeannie Santoro of Wareham and Zizi to several beloved nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham on Thursday, August 11 at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Agawam Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wed. from4 to 8 p.m.
