Ross B. Lake, 56, of West Wareham, died Saturday, July 10, 2021 unexpectedly.

Born in Wareham, he was the son of Beverly Lake-Guinen of W. Wareham and the late Edgar Lake.

Ross graduated from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, Class of 1982, and worked as laborer for various cranberry growers in the area. He could fix most anything and was a “Jack of All Trades”.

He enjoyed being on the water and walking the canal, spending time at the beach and fishing. Ross enjoyed football and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan.

He is survived by his sons, Ross B. Lake, Jr. and his partner William Gore of Pawtucket, RI, and Nicholas Lake and his partner Catherine Pipher of Plymouth; his daughter, Brittany Laroche and her husband Dr. Andrew Laroche of Pawtucket, RI; his mother, Beverly Lake-Guinen of W. Wareham; his sister, Phyllis Barbato and her husband Edward of Middleboro; his grandchildren, Lucas, Kevin and Jacob Laroche, Vincent Giuffre, and Madison Lake; and his nephews, Anthony and William Barbato.  He was predeceased by his brother, the late Kevin Lake.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tues., July 20, 2021 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 – 7 PM.  His funeral will be from the funeral home on Wed., July 21, 2021 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, High St., Wareham at 10 AM.  Burial will be private.
