Scott Anthony Murdock, 56, of Wareham, died Feb. 2 in Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston. He was the husband of Kelly G. (Santos) Murdock and the son of the late Wallace Ray and Barbara Mae (Rich) Murdock.

He was born in Wareham and lived there all of his life.

Mr. Murdock worked for Hannula Cranberry Company for many years before retiring. Previously he worked for Keith Mann Company and Decas Cranberry Company.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, walks on the canal, riding his moped, cooking and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly G. (Santos) Murdock; three sons, Scott A. Murdock, Jr. of East Wareham, Ryan Murdock of W. Wareham and Aaron Allen-Murdock of Marion; four daughters, Colby Cisneros of New Bedford, Alice Murdock of Wareham, Helen Allen-Murdock of Marion and Elenor Allen-Murdock of Marion; three stepchildren, Jane Gifford of New Bedford, Stephen Reney, Jr. of Onset and Shayleene Reney of Wareham; three brothers, Richard Murdock of Wareham, Robert Murdock of Wareham and William Murdock of Onset; five sisters, Sheila Murdock of New Bedford, Kathleen Ferrer of W. Wareham, Susan Laperriere of Duxbury, Kim Requenes of New Bedford and Jamie Christmas of Plymouth; seven grandchildren.

Visiting hours are from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m.
