Nov 21, 2017
Selectmen approved a $411,608 performance bond for the town’s newest commercial development, a 46,000-square-foot mixed-use project in West Wareham.
Selectmen swiftly OK’d the bond for Virginia-based developer J. Donegan Company on Monday night at their meeting. The bond helps guarantee the project will be completed, and it expires on Nov. 13, 2019.
Two tenants have been announced so far for the project, located at the intersection of Cranberry Highway and Tobey Road. An Aldi supermarket is slated to open on Nov. 30 and an AutoZone auto parts and accessory store will also open at a later date to be determined.
In total, four buildings are planned for the site with a total of 318 parking spaces.
