Selectmen, School Committee members up for reelection

A number of officials in Wareham are up for re-election this year.

The Annual Town Election will be held on May 5, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

On the Board of Selectmen, both Mary Mackey and Peter Teitelbaum are up for reelection. Selectmens’ terms last for three years.

Both Joyce Bacchiocchi and Laurie Spear are up for reelection on the School Committee, with three-year terms.

Three positions will be open on the Board of Assessors. James McCahill and Priscilla Porter are up for reelection with three-year terms. David Heard did not swear in after last year’s election, so his seat will be open with a two-year term.

Donna Bronk and William Lockwood are up for reelection on the Housing Authority with five-year terms.

Constable Steven Coughlin is up for reelection with a three-year term. 

Commissioner Donna Bronk is up for reelection with a three-year term as a Sewer User Commissioner.

At-large Sewer Commissioner Malcolm White is up for reelection with a three-year term.

Nomination papers will be available beginning on January 21, and will be due to the Town Clerk’s Office by 5 p.m. on March 9. Papers will be available from the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall, 54 Marion Rd., during regular business hours.
