Sister's plight inspires liver awareness campaign
Oct 28, 2015
Owner of the Gallery Consignment store on Main Street, Traci Medeiros, has an older sister Deb Debski, who is struggling with the illness Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, a rare autoimmune liver disease.
Debski’s condition has gradually worsened over the last few years, her only hope at this point is a liver transplant.
Medeiros has redesigned her shop’s front window for this month by silkscreening the window with her sister’s donation website: HelpGiveLifeToDeb.com, as well as dressing it up with the color green in recognition of Liver Cancer Awareness month.
