Southcoast names new VP of Clinical Services for Cardiovascular Care and Imaging
Southcoast Hospitals Group has named Laurie Mulgrew the Vice President of Clinical Services for Cardiovascular Care & Imaging. In her new role, Mulgrew oversees Southcoast's broad range of cardiovascular services and radiology services, including cardiac catheterization laboratories at Charlton and St. Luke's hospitals, the electrophysiology lab, cardiac arrhythmia and pacemaker services, elective angioplasty program and vascular services.
Mulgrew joined Southcoast in 2000, serving for the past 10 years as the Director of Cardiac Interventional & Respiratory Services. Prior to that, she held the position of Manager of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and Interventional Radiology Laboratory at Charlton.
Before joining Southcoast she was Director of Radiology Imaging Services for Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, R.I., and the Cardiology Practice Manager at Prima CARE Medical Center in Fall River.
Mulgrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, Healthcare Administration from Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., and Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from New England College in Henniker, N.H.
