Spencer Thomas Rogers, 23

Dec 3, 2019

Spencer Thomas Rogers, 23, of East Wareham, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019, in Raynham due to injuries in an accident. He was the son of Craig S. Rogers and Deborah Carroll Rogers.

He was born in Wareham and lived there all of his life. He graduated in 2014 from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School in Bourne, where he studied Marine Mechanics.

Spencer worked as a mechanic and pipefitter for Roby's Gas in West Wareham beginning in 2011.

He was an active member of 603 Diesels and the Cape Cod Coal Rollers and loved attending the numerous events with his friends.  Spencer could be seen riding around in his pickup trucks or on his Harley Davidson. Spencer was the best friend anyone could ask for. A friend could call him at any point of the day or night needing him and he would be there in a heartbeat; it did not matter if it was a twenty minute drive, or a two day drive.

Survivors include his parents, Craig S. Rogers and Debbie Carroll Rogers of East Wareham; his older sister, Kaitlyn C. Rogers of East Wareham; his aunt and uncle who were also his godparents, Tony and Cheryl (Rogers) Costeira of Rochester; his aunt, Andrena Carroll- Gerace and her husband Tony of Texas; cousins, Alex Costeira, Amanda (Carroll) Roshka, Thomas Carroll, Rit Carroll, Rebecca Carroll, and Tyler Gerace. He was predeceased by his uncle, Edward T. Carroll, Jr. and his grandparents, Diane and Donald Rogers, Jo Jeffries, E. Thomas Carroll and his wife Anne Carroll.

The best way to honor his memory is to always wear your seatbelt, be the best friend you can be, and always pay it forward whenever you can.

Visiting hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2019 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Agawam Cemetery.
