The Wareham Land Trust is offering an afternoon’s worth of activities in celebration of Earth Day, Saturday, April 22.
From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Land Trust staff and board members will be at Stonebridge Bar and Grill in Onset to discuss the Land Trust’s plans for future projects. For those who decide to have lunch, Stonebridge will donate 15% of all food sales to the Land Trust.
From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Land Trust Executive Director Elise Leduc-Fleming will lead a walk along the North Water Street Beach in Onset, pointing out wildlife along the way.
From 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Earth Day celebrants will make a souvenir craft out of shells. Shell sculptors can comb the beach for materials or bring their own.
