West Wareham-Stephen P. Gallant, 70, husband of Karen (Silva) Gallant, passed away after a long illness with his family at his side on September 11, 2023 at Tobey Hospital.

He was born in Leominster, MA the son of the late Paul “Pete” and Rachel (Dufort) Gallant. He was a Fitchburg native and graduate from Fitchburg High School.

Stephen most recently worked as the IT Director for the Christmas Tree Shops / Bed Bath and Beyond and previously worked for Sure Fit in PA, and Cliftex in New Bedford. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, a great cigar, a good laugh and he was an avid New England sports fan.

He is also survived by his children Suzanne (Peter) Brzezinski of Mattapoisett, Sarah Gallant of Fall River, A.J. Bodington of W. Wareham and the Late Brian Gallant. He was the grandfather of Brittany, Ashley, Brian, Leah, Emily, Scotty, Jacob, Trae and Xander. Great grandfather of James and coming soon Noah Stephen. Brother of Deborah Murphy of Fitchburg and the late Paul Gallant.
