Stuff a Fire Truck, an endeavor of the Onset Fire Department's Box 5 Association and the Victorian Cafe, will kick off Saturday, December 3.

The Box 5 Association, Onset firefighters, and the cafe have teamed up to provide assistance to less fortunate Onset and Wareham families this holiday season.

An antique Onset Fire truck will be parked near the Victorian Cafe on December 3, 10, and 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers will be collecting new, unwrapped toys and nonperishable food items to be donated to local charities in an effort to stuff the truck.

On December 3, the event will take place during the Onset Bay Association's Christmas in the Parks event. Firefighters will be decorating holiday cookies with children at the cafe in addition to collecting donations.

The Onset Box 5 polar bear will also be making special appearances.
