Summer faire celebrates Wareham church 'family'
Jul 15, 2017
There were a variety of vendors, games, raffle prizes and homemade goodies at the Wesley United Methodist Church’s annual Summer Faire on Saturday. However, the most important thing at the faire, according to Pastor Ginny Doran, was the people.
“We really are a church family,” said Doran. “We’re a small parish, but it’s very tight knit.”
The fair featured items for sale in front of the church and the parking lot across the street. Inside, homemade clam chowder, lobster rolls and baked goods were sold in the church basement. Also, the church’s thrift store was open and a few searched through the donated items for finds.
Proceeds from the faire benefited the church.
