Summer school programs offered in Wareham

Wareham High School’s fifth quarter summer school program will run from July 7 through Aug. 7. Classes will be held from Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11: 55 a.m. Registration for students that must attend summer school will be held at Wareham High School, Room 115, on July 1 and July 2 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The charge for Wareham students is $150 per class while out-of-district students will pay $195 per class. The first session runs from 8:30 to 10:10 a.m. High school classes being offered for the first session are:  algebra 1, geometry, English 9, English 11, English 12, biology, Spanish I (online) and U.S. history 1 (Grade 10).

The second session runs from 10:15 to 11:55 a.m. offering the following classes: algebra 2, geometry, English 10, introduction to the physical world, world history (Grade 9), Spanish 2 (online) and U.S. history 2 (online).

Additional classes may be made available to students online via Edgenuity during sessions one and two on a first-come, first-served case-by-case basis during registration.
