Superintendent Kimberly Shaver-Hood invites community members to help the school district's reconfiguration to go as smoothly as possible.

The reconfiguration has three main parts:

The East Wareham Early Childhood Center will be closed for the 2014-2015 school year.

Students enrolled in pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade will attend Minot Forest Elementary.

Students enrolled in second, third and fourth grades will attend John W. Decas Elementary.

The initial meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 at John W. Decas Elementary.

Open forums will be held on Feb. 11 at Minot Forest and Feb. 25 at Decas Elementary at 6:30 p.m. The forums will provide opportunities for parents, staff, and citizens to ask questions, offer suggestions, and gain a full understanding of the plan.
