Superintendent search committee releases survey, asks for volunteers

Jan 26, 2022

Interested in the search for a new Wareham Superintendent of Schools? The search committee has published a survey to collect community input, and is looking for volunteers to serve on the committee.

The survey focuses on the qualities and skill sets that community members would like the next superintendent should have. The committee asks those interested to complete the survey by February 28. To fill out the survey, go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Wareham2022.

The committee is also looking for volunteers in several categories to serve on the search committee: a regular education parent, a special education parent, and a member of the community at large. The time commitment involved would be seven four-hour weeknight meetings, scheduled over a two week period. An orientation meeting will be held on March 10, followed by a screening of applicants on March 16 and interviews during the week of March 21. Those who can commit to those in-person meeting dates and times and would like to join the effort are asked to email Search Committee Chair Kevin Brogioli at kbrogioli@wareham.k12.ma.us. Applicants are asked to send a brief explanation of their interest in the committee by February 16. Members will be selected on March 3.
