On Sunday, Feb. 4, the friends and supporters of the National Marine Life Center will take the plunge at Onset Beach in Wareham. The Center works for the rehabilitation of Arctic and other seal species, and sea turtles. 

The plunge will take place at 11 a.m. at the Onset Bay Center, 186 Onset Avenue, Onset. The Buzzards Bay Coalition is making its facility available for registration and for warming up after the plunge. Parking is available at the Onset Beach Pier. 

This yearly tradition brings the community together to support marine wildlife conservation. Proceeds provide medical care and rehabilitation for seals, sea turtles, and other needy marine animals.
