Discover the best that Massachusetts history has to offer, all without leaving home.

This March, the Wareham Free Library will host a series of free Zoom talks about historic sites across the state, held on Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

On March 1, guests will virtually visit the Frederick Law Olmstead National Historic Site and learn about the foremost American landscape architect of the 19th century.

On March 8, guests will virtually tour Longfellow House in Cambridge, which was General George Washington’s headquarters before it became the home of poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and.

On March 15, guests will virtually walk Boston’s “Black Heritage Trail” with the Boston African American National Historic Site. 

On March 22, guests will hear “Stories from the Whaling Port” from the New Bedford Whaling National Historic Park.

On March 29, guests will virtually visit the John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Park, the birthplace and childhood home of the 35th president.
