Theresa L. Jorjakis, 59
Theresa L. Jorjakis, 59, of Wareham passed away on May 26 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River after a short illness. Theresa was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Edward and Barbara Menten. She attended Stoughton and Brockton public schools.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and traveling. She is the former owner of Santoro’s Pizza in Carver. She also worked for more than 10 years at Shaw’s supermarket in Wareham.
She is survived by her children: Kostantinos Jorjakis and his wife Kim of Wareham, Petro Jorjakis and his wife Erin of Florida and George Jorjakis and his fiancé Alyssa Deardon of Wareham. She was the sister of Linda Smith of Arizona, Kevin Menten of Brockton, Mike Menten of Whitman, Charles Menten of Florida, Edward Menten and Patty Thomas of Norton. She was the loving grandmother of Kostantinos Jorjakis II, Gloria Jorjakis and Petro Jorjakis Jr. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday May 31, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Wareham Village Funeral Home at 5 Center St., Wareham followed by a small reception at the American Legion in Wareham on Main Street from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her memory may be made to your local food pantry and animal shelter or any medical charity.
