Theresa M. Caliri, 97, of Swifts Beach, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 with her family at her side.  She was born in Gaeta, Italy the daughter of the late Romolo and Santina Maria (DiMaggio) Fantasia.  Ms. Caliri worked for many years as a seamstress and was a loving and devoted mother.  She enjoyed Bingo, gardening, cooking and especially her boys.

She was the mother of Philip R. Caliri, Sr. of Swifts Beach, Paul Caliri and his wife Lucy of Somerville and Ronald Caliri and his wife Moreen of Wareham.  She was the grandmother of Philip Caliri and his wife Na Na, Anthony Caliri and his wife Melissa, Kabrin Caliri and her fiancé Evan Fogel and Kelsey and her husband Ted O’Mara.  She was also survived by her great grandchildren Christopher, Nycole, Janice, Trey, Rory and Theresa “Reese” and 1 great great granddaughter Mila.  She was the sister of Gino Fantasia and his wife Fran and Mary (Fantasia) Delaney.  She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  She was the mother of the late Steven Caliri, mother in-law of the late Janice (Cannon) Caliri and sister in-law of the late Richard Delaney.

Her funeral will be from the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center Street on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 9:15 am followed by a 10 o’clock Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Patrick’s Church   82 High Street Wareham, relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.  Visitation with the family will be from 8:15-9:15 prior to the Mass.
