Saturday, Dec. 13
Christmas in Onset
The annual Christmas in the Village walk is returning Saturday, Dec. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. throughout Onset village.
Maps for the route with activities will be available the day of and candy cane markers will help guide participants through the walk. The event is free and there will be free parking on the pier, 186 Onset Avenue, at the temple lot on Union Avenue and at the Hynes Lot, 248 Onset Avenue.
Meowy Christmas
The Hearts 4 Paws cat rescue will be holding its annual craft fair Saturday, Dec. 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge 2855 Cranberry Highway.
Food, beverages and crafts will be available to purchase alongside raffle tickets. All money raised will go directly back to the care and welfare of the animals.
Sunday, Dec. 14
Holiday at the hall
Head down to the Redmen Hall for an afternoon of holiday fun for the kids. From 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 14 Redmen Hall located at 745 Main Street, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance.
The event is free to attend.
Monday, Dec. 15
A wickets wonderland
The Onset Bay Center will be holding Wickets Wonderland from Monday, Dec. 15 to Wednesday Dec.17 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Guests are invited to the center to take a boat trip to Wickers island to enjoy fireside treats, hot chocolate, and the ambiance of the island on a cold winter evening.
The center asks guests to register in advance at savebuzzardsbay.org for a time slot to leave Onset Pier. Trips will be leaving from the Onset Pier and back every 20 to 30 minutes and participants can expect to spend about 30 to 60 minutes on the island.
