The Wareham Fire District will host its annual meeting tonight — Monday, April 8 — at 7 p.m. in the Wareham High School auditorium.

Among other business, voters will be asked to approve department budgets, to earmark funds for fire department training, to purchase a new truck for the district's mechanic and a vehicle for the fire department, and to consider whether to pay $550,000 to purchase up to 70 acres of land to protect the district's Maple Park Well Field.
