'Totally Magic' at the High School
Community Arts in Action (CAIA) has planned a grand finale to its 2009-2010 season, hosting magician and illusionist Kevin Burgess for his show "Totally Magic" on June 27 at Wareham High School.
From simple tricks to impress a young audience to large, original illusions for those of a more mature (or skeptical) age, Burgess and his crew will entertain you with their show's combination of dance, audience participation, music, and comedy.
The show begins at 3 p.m., but arrive early for CAIA's year-end raffle. All raffle tickets sold since January will be reentered in a drawing for the grand prize of "Great Tastes of Wareham:" dinner for two at five of Wareham's best restaurants including Ella's Wood Burning Oven Restaurant, Lindsey's Restaurant, Bailey's Surf N Turf, Longhorn Steakhouse, and the soon-to-be-open Zen.
Tickets for the show cost $20 for general admission, $10 for those over 55, and $5 for students. Tickets are available now by calling 508-273-7308. Since seats are not reserved, it is recommended that large groups arrive early to secure a block of seats.
