Town invites public to share opinions on Wareham Village redevelopment plans
As the town works to develop an urban renewal plan for downtown Wareham, the Redevelopment Authority has scheduled a few opportunities for residents to stop by and share their thoughts on what the future of Wareham Village should look like.
The two public meetings will be held rain or shine from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4 and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 6, and residents can drop in at any time within those hours. The sessions will be at the old Wareham Village train station on Merchants Way, behind El Mariachi.
Residents are encouraged to come to whichever session works best for their schedule, and participants will be able to share their thoughts on the town’s ongoing urban renewal plan for downtown.
The Wareham Redevelopment Authority has hosted public sessions before to gather opinions on downtown development.
