Town requests responses to survey on businesses impacted by coronavirus

The Town of Wareham is conducting a survey to better understand how it can help local businesses impacted by the coronavirus.

The deadline for applications for the grant to assist funding local businesses are due on June 12, meaning responses to the survey must be received by June 9. 

In a personal Facebook post, Selectman Peter Teitelbaum wrote that “individual responses are confidential and will be used data in support of the town’s CARES ACT grant application…”

Teitelbaum has asked participants in the survey to skip questions that do not apply to them. He also advised participants that summary information provided in the survey is considered public record and may be subject to public disclosure.

The selectman also expressed gratitude for survey participants, writing “we appreciate your help during this time and are doing everything we can to provide relief as soon as possible.”
