Town-wide trash clean-up
Citizens from every neighborhood in Wareham are invited to participated in the Wareham Town-wide Trash Clean-up from May 13-16. The effort's organizers aim to clean as much litter from the town's roadways, parks, and beaches as possible.
"We just want to increase people's awareness," said organizer Mary Bruce, who has worked on getting the event together for the past three weeks. "There's no good litter."
More than 300 people have signed up thus far.
