The newly-opened Tractor Supply Company store in East Wareham will hold its grand opening ceremony on Saturday, November 17.

"East Wareham is a great location for Tractor Supply Company, because the store is surrounded by numerous horse owners and farmers that live the 'out here' lifestyle," said store manager Gregg Ahearn.

In celebration of the new store, which is located in the building that formerly housed Staples, the company is offering a 10% discount off customers' first purchase, on purchases up to $100, from Thursday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 18.

The store first officially opened for business on Nov. 10.

WCTK Cat Country 98.1 radio will broadcast live from the store on Friday. On Saturday, vendors will offer in-store demonstrations.

Tractor Supply will dole out free baseball hats while supplies last. Shoppers may also enter to win prizes including gift cards, power tools, pet food, 22-ton log splitter, and a chain saw.

Tractor Supply, located at 3017 Cranberry Highway, is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
